 Inspiration Post:           I recently came across an artist on YouTube that inspired me. His name is Dédouze and he is a self taught illustrator. He does a lot of work in Blender specifically using grease pencil. Below are some of his animations that are especially unique and sparked my interest.            There are many things I like about this artist's work. One thing in particular is the color pallet that is used pretty consistently in his work. He mainly uses blues and pinks as well as yellow to color, shade, and highlight his scenes. I like how his artwork is not focused on realism and experiments with using colors that would not normally be used to shade or color objects. I also really like how the style is almost sketch like and cartoony.  Krish:          One presentation that inspired me is Krish's work. I liked how he originally was making scene work that was kind of sci fi and then decided to try a different direction by making forest/landscape art. I especially like this finished piece he made. What I like about this piece is that it feels very cohesive but not boring in any way. The colors of the fall leaves along with the cabin and grass create a cozy look and the river adds a nice composition break up of the land. I also am very impressed by the rock and water textures and modeling. Even though I am no longer modeling, I can understand the hard work it takes to make something like this. I can also appreciate the color pallet that this piece has and I hope to also achieve this level of cohesiveness in the colors of my art.
