 Inspiration Post:

I recently came across an artist on YouTube that inspired me. His name is Dédouze and he is a self taught illustrator. He does a lot of work in Blender specifically using grease pencil. Below are some of his animations that are especially unique and sparked my interest.

There are many things I like about this artist's work. One thing in particular is the color pallet that is used pretty consistently in his work. He mainly uses blues and pinks as well as yellow to color, shade, and highlight his scenes. I like how his artwork is not focused on realism and experiments with using colors that would not normally be used to shade or color objects. I also really like how the style is almost sketch like and cartoony. He artwork stands out from anyone else's work and I love how it is able to tell a story in such a short amount of time.

I find it very inspiring how this artist is able to create such captivating and gorgeous animations with using a limited color pallet. I also like how he is not afraid to use bold colors that pop. It challenges me to try using colors together that I wouldn't normally and experiment with style in my own work.
