Inspiration Page:        Recently, I was inspired by the artist Fernanda Frick. She is an illustrator, animation director, and comic artist from Chile. I found her on YouTube where she posts her short films and trailers made with her independent studio.     One of her short films that specifically inspired me is called "Here's the Plan," which is about a couple who have a dream of running their own baking business, but face some troubles on their journey there.           There were a few things about this short film that inspired me. One thing that inspired me was how smooth the animation was; for the characters, the baking, etc. The animation was very polished and there was no clipping, or sudden movements that weren't purposeful. The character models moved very smoothly whenever they walked, blinked, or moved their hands. When they were baking, the animation of the egg cracking and the piping of the icing was also very s...

Brainstorming Page: I wanted to research a little and find some ways to reduce the lag in my project file. To do this, I found a website that gives some ideas on how to reduce the ram that Blender uses. I believe that a lack of ram is what was causing my file to crash, so hopefully this can prevent that in the future. Here is the website I used:  https://artisticrender.com/memory-optimization-for-rendering-in-blender/ Reduce the amount of geometry. Reduce the amount and size of textures. Reduce the use of particles and simulation data Free up memory used in other applications Reduce the amount of geometry: This is one option to consider. Making the individual leaf and tree trunk have less vertices would definitely help with reducing the lag and possibility to crash. The only problem with this is that I have already modeled the tree trunk and leaf. They took a while to model, so I do not plan on remodeling them for sake of time. The only thing I could use this on is the ground ...

Reflection Page: In this picture, you can see my first try at making grass. To make this grass, I followed a quick tutorial that showed me how to easily use hair particles and an image to create realistic looking grass. I was pretty happy with how the grass came out, and I thought it looked realistic enough for my scene. However, I think I made it too small, because in the final animation, you will be able to see the end of the world. Because of this, I decided to make a bigger plane. Here you can see I made the bigger plane of grass that should help to fix the problem of seeing the end of the world. I was also pretty happy with how it looked in the end. The thing that worried me about this, was the fact that I had to use many more particles (because of the larger space) than I did in the previous attempt. I thought it might cause problems in the future with lagging, and unfortunately I was right. This is where I started texturing the tree. I had previously tested out texturing in ...
