 Inspiration Page:

I came across this video that talked about six important layout design principles that professionals use in graphic design. I found the video very informative and helpful.

1. Negative Space: talks about how sometimes it is good to have chunk of negative space and it doesn't always need to be filled with a large logo just because you might think it should.

2. Proximity: things that are related to each other in a design should have a closer proximity to separate ideas.

3. Repetition: the idea that a design should have parts that feel continuous and follow a specific theme. This can also apply to colors.

4. Contrast: having two elements that are different or opposite to each other in order to create emphasis or visual interest.

5. Alignment: making sure that most elements in a design are in alignment with each other in some way to create a professional and pleasant look.

6. Focal Points: an shape, image, or typography that immediately grabs the viewers attention and possibly leads the eyes in another direction.

I found all of these rules very useful and educational in my discovery of graphic design and I plan to use these in the future.
