Blog Post and Work Log 11/19/22
Inspiration Page:
I recently found a logo tutorial that involves the golden ratio. I watched it all the way through and found it very helpful. I didn't know you could use the golden ratio rule on logos, but the design that this person made turned out very well!
Watching this video the whole way through, there were many things that I found helpful. First of all, he showed how to make the golden ratio circle in adobe illustrator, which I can use for future logos. The video is also step by step which makes it very easy to follow along.
Using the golden ratio in the design definitely elevated the sleekness and visual appeal it has. The simple color gradients also make the turtle look interesting, but not too busy. Overall I thought this video was very helpful and I plan to experiment with this technique in the future.
