 Experimentation Page:

        I decided to look at a some refresher tutorials on how to create landscape. I found two that were helpful, and I plan to look back at them when I actually start making the landscape.



This video gives a review of how to sculpt your terrain and offers a basic understanding of how to change the poly number, and how to make it smooth.





This tutorial I mainly liked because it gave an overview of different terrain options in the beginning of the video. Two terrains specifically that I plan to use are below.






These are the two types of terrain that I plan to incorporate in my landscape. My plan is to have a depression thin the middle where I can put the tree, and then a few hill-ish variations around the tree so that it hides the end of the plane and creates a natural skyline.
